€700K will be invested to ensure that Monte Pego finally has a sewage system that will connect with the Penva Roja urbanisation.
Plans have been confirmed, by Pego water councilor Pau Foqués, as in the ‘pipeline’ and that financial support is being sought from both regional and National government.
John Cambris, spokesman for the Bloc Party is reported in the Costa Blanca News "At last Monte Pego sewage water will be treated at the plant and not spilled into some local ravine – which is what has been happening due to lack of connection to the local grid."
