Welcome to the Association of UK Property Owners
The Association was founded in 2007 to satisfy the needs of the one and a quarter million UK second homeowners in Spain.
The AUKPO is a membership organisation for UK residents who are property owners abroad. We are a non-partisan site operated and run by property owners. Any one can register free of charge!
We will fight unnecessary bureaucracy and threats to homeowners on behalf of our members.
Founded by Maria and Cheyne Marley, property owners in Monte Pego, Costa Blanca. Both are UK residents who live in Wimborne in Dorset in the UK. Both are passionate about Spain. The Association is represented in Spain by a team of two. Both of whom are Spanish and English speaking.
The AUKPO web site is the main engine for driving the Association. It has been established to satisfy the following areas:
The AUKPO is the UK’s first national association of owners, its aims are simple:
- Representing members' issues both locally and nationally
- Provide a buying group to negotiate preferential terms from suppliers of goods and services
- Provide unique visual personal profiles constructed by members that facilitates web links to rental sites
- Provides unique visual profiles of invited suppliers. Each profile allows for feedback to be left by customers.
- A unique feedback system for members whether property owners or suppliers that establishes quality standards
- Members forums, which are managed by the members
- Classified ads for members, allowing for the sale or exchange of goods between members only.
- Tourist information links for members of the public who use our site as first contact.
- Articles of interest submitted by members or associates on subjects of interests to the UKPOA community
- Local news and news features

Who will use the Association web site?
Over 2 million tourists visit the Costa Blanca each year. The site will be targeting this huge market to enable members to feed their own rental sites.
1.2 5 million property owners in Spain will have access and the opportunity of joining the Association as full members. By active participation the site will evolve into a Force Majeure
The AUKPO also provides a means by which visitors to Spain can access transparent feedback from previous guests staying at member’s properties, which in turn will contain links to their designated rental sites.
As a registered user of the site you can and are encouraged to leave feedback on your holiday experience at any of our member’s properties. We all take pride in ensuring that your holiday is without complaint. Feedback helps us to constantly improve all of our services.
